Weekend luck & love:
For my flight back to California, my bag weighed exactly 50.0 pounds. The farmer’s market had a booth with delicious Afghan bread and lentil-curry spread. And free samples. And blood oranges. Being at home means two things:
1) I cannot run outside for longer than 25 minutes without losing feeling in my extremities.
2) Access to a car provides ample opportunity to listen to a horrifying amount of Top 40 radio.

My winter farm share now includes apples, pears, persimmons, kale, onion, cherry tomatoes, spinach, carrots, broccoli, and bell peppers. A major upgrade from last winter’s potato and stale bread CSA, eh, Amy?
